Along the Bay of Fundy in Baxters Harbour, Nova Scotia, their shoreside farm and forest serve as a sanctuary for those seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. With backgrounds deeply rooted in wildlife and conservation biology, Lance and Sarah recognized that fostering meaningful experiences in nature could inspire others to appreciate and protect the environment.
This passion led them to create Wild Mountain Adventures, offering activities like horseback trail rides and traditional archery sessions. Each experience is designed to help visitors reconnect with the natural world, reflecting the couple's commitment to conservation and sustainable living.
Meet Lance
Lance Bishop, co-founder of Wild Mountain Adventures, has spent his life deeply connected to the land in Baxters Harbour, Nova Scotia. With a background in wildlife and conservation biology, he originally pursued scientific research but found his true passion in helping others connect with nature. Through horseback trail rides, traditional archery, and outdoor experiences, Lance shares his love for the natural world, inspiring visitors to slow down, explore, and appreciate the beauty of Nova Scotia’s coastal wilderness.
Meet Sarah
Sarah Clarke, co-founder of Wild Mountain Adventures, is a seasoned equestrian and a certified Western Riding Level 1 Coach with Equestrian Canada. Her lifelong passion for horses and dedication to teaching have inspired countless individuals to connect deeply with these majestic animals. Through guided trail rides and horsemanship lessons, Sarah creates enriching experiences that foster a profound bond between riders and horses, all set against the stunning backdrop of Baxters Harbour, Nova Scotia.
