Our guided trail rides take you through breathtaking coastal forests, peaceful open meadows, and scenic pathways that wind along the dramatic cliffs overlooking the Bay of Fundy. As you ride, you'll experience the fresh ocean breeze, the soothing sounds of nature, and panoramic views that make this journey unforgettable.


Whether you're a first-time rider looking for a relaxed introduction to horseback riding or an experienced equestrian seeking a new adventure, our gentle, well-trained horses and knowledgeable guides ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all. With a strong focus on comfort, safety, and a deep appreciation for the natural world, we invite you to come on a one-of-a-kind journey through some of the most breathtaking landscapes Nova Scotia has to offer.

The Sunset Trail

Duration: 2 hours

Per Person - $85.00 CAD

Experience the beauty of golden hour on horseback with The Sunset Trail, a beginner-friendly ride that takes you through our farm and coastal forest trails, ending with a stunning ocean-side view. As the sun sets over the Bay of Fundy, you'll take in breathtaking scenery from the back of your horse - an unforgettable way to end the day.

Available: June 20 – August 31

  • Start Time: 7:00 PM (Please arrive by 6:30 PM for check-in and preparation)


  • Total Time on Property: 6:30 – 8:30 PM

Fundy in the Fall

Duration: 2 hours

Per Person - $85.00 CAD

Experience the beauty of fall on horseback with Fundy in the Fall, a scenic afternoon ride through vibrant coastal forests at the peak of autumn colour. This beginner-friendly adventure lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes and ends in our ocean-side field overlooking the Bay of Fundy, providing a stunning seasonal backdrop.

Available: September 5

Mondays to Fridays, starting September 5 and continuing as long as weather allows. Please check our calendar for available dates. 

  • Start Time: 1:00 PM (Please arrive by 12:30 PM for check-in and preparation)


  • Total Time on Property: 12:30 – 2:30 PM

The Way of the Horsebow - Horseback add-on

Per Person - $50.00 CAD

Participants who wish to expand their experience may start the afternoon by witnessing a demonstration of modern horseback archery. Then, you’ll have the chance to mount one of our trained archery horses on the track to experience the thrill of shooting your arrows from the saddle (at a walk)!

Safety and Horse Rules

  • We adhere to safety policies and practices set out by the Nova Scotia Equestrian Federation.


  • All guests will be given safety and horse handling instructions before every trail ride.


  • Riding horses involves an element of risk and all people using the facilities must sign a waiver releasing the owners of liability. 


  • All guests must wear a proper fitting riding helmet which will be provided (feel free to bring your own but must be a horseback riding helmets only, no bike/motorcycle/skateboard helmets etc. ).


  • Guests must dress appropriately for riding and weather conditions. Wearing layers is recommended.  Keep in mind it is often 10 degrees cooler on the hottest days near the shore, and sometimes foggy. Long pants and sturdy footwear with a heel are required to ride safely. No sandals, open shoes, or bare ankles will be permitted.


  • Children under 10 are not permitted on trail rides per our insurance policy, and beginner riders must be 12 or over (*see below for our definition of a beginner rider).


  • We are currently booking a maximum of 4 guests per ride.


  • Based on size of our horses, we cannot accommodate persons weighing above 240 lbs. (20% of the horses weight) 


  • A certain level of physical capability is required to ride a horse. You know your physical limitations better than anyone else and have to discern if a trail ride is something that is within those limitations. Some things to consider would be your fitness level (your legs and core will be actively working) , any breathing restrictions ( how easily you get winded), and your ability to stay balanced.  By booking a trail ride you are confirming that all riders have read and agreed to these restrictions and rules, and feel that they meet the general level of fitness required for such an activity.


  • Please inform us of any allergies or physical/ mental conditions or concerns which may impact your riding experience so we can do our best to meet your needs. All personal information is confidential. 


  • Always keep a distance of at least 2 meters behind horses while riding, and always verbally let a horse be aware when you are approaching them from behind.


  • No smoking of any kind and no alcohol on the farm or trails.


  • No dogs permitted on the property.


  • Always treat the animals with kindness when interacting with them, and never speak poorly to any of our horses–absolute zero tolerance of animal mistreatment or abuse. We reserve the right to remove you from your horse and no refund will be issued if you do not adhere to this policy.
     

*We classify guests riding experience as follows:


  1. Beginner: Has ridden a horse less than 10 times, or had 5 or less riding lessons on the back of a horse, and no formal shows or competitions.
  2. Intermediate: Has ridden a horse consistently for over a year, more than 5 lessons, and/or competed in shows or events.
  3. Advanced: Has ridden more than 3 years consistently and ridden recently, has obtained rider levels through a Provincial Equestrian Federation, or competed for more than 2 years in shows or events.

    We will have printed copies of our waivers on site to be signed prior to the ride, please take the time to review waivers prior to arrival to make this a speedy process at the time of the ride. Feel free to print and initial/sign waivers ahead of time and bring them with you.

Sarah Clarke

Sarah is a lifelong rider and a certified Western Riding Level 1 Coach with Equestrian Canada. She specializes in horsemanship and riding lessons, helping riders of all levels develop confidence and a deeper connection with their horses.

Lance Bishop

Lance is also a longtime equestrian and a certified coach of Mounted Archery with the Canadian Federation of Mounted Archery. His expertise combines horseback riding with the ancient art of archery, creating a unique and immersive experience for riders. Together, Sarah and Lance are passionate about helping people connect with horses and nature through trail riding adventures, making every ride a meaningful and memorable experience.

Cancellation Policy

Please give 48 hours notice for cancellations on all pre-booked trail rides. If weather leads to a cancellation on our part, your ride will be reimbursed. Charges may be applied for guests who do not adhere to the cancellation policy (50%) *All prices are subject to 15% HST provincial sales tax.
